Sightline Baseball is a recruiting board and budget manager for college baseball coaches — one place to track every prospect, value them against a real scholarship and NIL budget, and stay ahead of a recruiting calendar that never really stops. On the player side, it's a single recruiting profile a player builds once and keeps current, instead of rebuilding a packet for every coach who asks.
Why it exists
The House settlement changed what it means to run a college baseball program. Coaches who never managed real payroll are now allocating scholarship dollars and NIL/revenue-share money across a full roster, with roster caps and equivalency rules layered on top — real budget decisions, made with the same spreadsheets and gut instinct programs have always used, because nothing built for college baseball specifically existed to help.
Players are on the other side of the same shift. Their stats, measurables, and recruiting history are worth something concrete now, and that data has always belonged to them — not to whichever recruiting service last scraped it. Sightline is built around that: a player's profile is theirs, never scraped or sold, and a coach's board is a private, program-specific tool, not a shared marketplace.
What we won't do
We don't publish player valuations as if they were market fact, and we don't fabricate data — no invented testimonials, no made-up usage numbers, no stat we can't trace to something you or a public source actually entered. Where the platform doesn't know something, it says so, rather than guessing.
